Trick or treat? The bat invasion

Dracula coordinates his bats with the COREDINATE® geofencing function.

Wahahahaaaaa! Trick or Treat? It’s that time of year again. The nights grow longer, the shadows darker, and Halloween is right around the corner. It’s the season when the creatures of the night crawl out of hiding to stir up some mischief. Among them is Dracula, the notorious night owl, who’s planning an innovative strategy for this year’s Halloween.

Last year, Halloween was a traditional affair: Dracula and his bats went door to door, collecting coveted candy. While it was fun, Dracula realized it could be more efficient and less chaotic. Plus, many people complained about the invading hordes of bats. So instead of sending all the bats at once and creating a mess, he’s come up with a plan this year that combines technology with tradition. He’s downloaded the latest version of COREDINATE ®, the innovative workforce management system on his smartphone and has already opened the COREDINATE portal on his laptop.

Dracula values quality and innovation, so he’s relying on the COREDINATE workforce management system, which is usually used to coordinate security personnel and document their work. Being tech-savvy, Dracula set up Geofencing zones for his flying helpers. “Each bat will have its own trick-or-treating zone,” Dracula explained excitedly. “That way, each creature can visit the Halloween enthusiasts in their designated area without being seen as overbearing in the crowd.”

The idea is simple but brilliant: Each bat is assigned a specific area through Geofencing where they can gather treats. Instead of flying around uncoordinated, they will efficiently and disciplinedly fulfill their tasks, without overlapping in each other’s territories.

People who hear about Dracula's new plan are both intrigued and relieved. Instead of a wild bat invasion, they now expect a well-organized collection process. Dracula himself is full of anticipation, hoping his plan will improve the Halloween experience for everyone involved.

At the end of the Halloween night, Dracula hopes that the bats will return satisfied with their haul, and he can relax without being flooded by complaint emails and calls. “Maybe I'll go down in history as the vampire who digitized Halloween,” he mused, smiling as he made the final preparations and set up a suitable Dashboard in COREDINATE® for Halloween night.

So, Dracula stands at the brink of a new Halloween adventure, ready to combine tradition with innovation and perhaps even write a new chapter in the history of the spooky season.
