Thanksgiving greetings

Written by Daniela Gröbel-Becker | Nov 24, 2022

All peoples of the world celebrate their successful harvest in one way or another, because that used to mean life or much more survival.

But Thanksgiving as we know it was first celebrated over 400 years ago in cold North America. It is the day when families come together to give thanks for a good harvest, but also to remember the help that Native Americans gave the colonists in Massachusetts to survive the first cold winter. At that time, they taught them how - by putting dead fish in the ground - to make the soil more fertile so that corn could grow there.

We at COREDINATE would like to thank the heroes of our daily lives - the security and building management professionals - even those who cannot celebrate with their families on this day because they are on duty.
